Finance staff presented a revised budget that moved certain capital expenditures into the capital (50) fund and reflected audited year‑end balances. The Board adopted Resolution 24‑24 (adopt the 2025 budget), Resolution 24‑25 (certify the 2025 mill levies) and Resolution 24‑26 (appropriate sums for the budget year) by voice votes. The finance director said the consolidated budget projects roughly $11.02 million in revenues and $11.15 million in expenditures with fund‑by‑fund balances expected to be close to even after reimbursable items post.
In other actions the board approved accounts‑payable warrants totaling about $218,655.30 (motion passed by voice vote), authorized a contract award for landfill fencing (Frontier Fence, $19,760.32), approved a memorandum of understanding with Solvista Health for disaster behavioral health mutual aid, ratified the county’s entry into a lawsuit with Fremont and Chaffee counties to recover DA office funds, and renewed the Alpine Lodge liquor license. Where recorded, votes were taken by voice and signified by commissioners saying "aye."
