In ordinance action, the council adopted a rezoning (second reading) to convert roughly 0.18 acres owned by DCC Strategic Realty Partners LLC at the corner of Woodbury and Noblett Streets from commercial (C2) to medium-density residential (R3), following a favorable recommendation from the planning commission. The council also approved first readings for two rezonings: a ~0.37-acre request for Greg and Joey Curl at 705 Alton Avenue to move from R3 to R3A (medium-high density) and a separate ~0.37-acre request for DCC Strategic Realty Partners at 1004 Woodbury Street to move from C2 to R3A; both first readings passed on voice/roll-call motions.
