The Lakeville Public School District Board of Education voted Dec. 17 to certify the districtpay-25 property-tax levy after a Truth-in-Taxation presentation and public comment. District finance director Bill Holmgren told the board the districtlevy is about $78 million and that this year's levy is down roughly $281,000 — about a third of 1% — compared with the prior year. "So unless you have a huge change and you did something to your home that really increased its value, you will not see an increase from the school district," Holmgren said.
