Rebecca Lalling and Jessica Sheridan told the board they had issued an unmodified opinion on the financial statements and their testing of federal awards disclosed no material weaknesses or significant deficiencies. The auditors noted the federal single‑audit threshold (at the time of the presentation) is $750,000 and that CARES/ESSER and other federal programs were part of the exam.
"We did not identify any... material weaknesses or significant deficiencies," an ELO auditor stated during the presentation. The auditors also summarized the scope of the reports and the independent auditors' opinion covering the district’s funds.
After the presentation the board moved to approve the 2023–24 audit report; with no discussion the motion carried by voice vote.
The acceptance of the audit affirms the business office’s financial reporting for fiscal 2024 and concludes the formal audit review for the year. No follow‑up findings were announced in the public presentation.
