Construction nears finish at Mountain Trailhead Learning Center, contractor says

Stuart Osler, project superintendent for McGough Construction, updated the school board on progress at the Mountain Trailhead Learning Center, saying the building is nearing completion and crews are finishing interior work ahead of owner walk‑throughs.
Osler said ceiling grid and tile work are underway in the media commons and cafeteria areas, crews are completing finish work in kindergarten and junior kindergarten areas, and the contractor has scheduled boiler start‑up that will enable air‑handling systems to follow. He described ongoing punch‑list activity in areas B, C and D (including the cafeteria and gymnasium) and said the team expects to invite the architect and owner for final walkthroughs once these items are closed out.
The presentation listed on‑site staffing levels and named project team members and subcontractors. Osler flagged upcoming milestones including remaining painting, ceramic tile, ceiling grid and MEP commissioning. The board was told a final construction update will be provided in January prior to turnover.
