Houston Tool Bank introduces Conroe neighborhood hub to Montgomery council

During the public-comment period of the Oct. 21 Montgomery City Council meeting, Stephanie Bridal spoke on behalf of the Houston Tool Bank, a nonprofit that provides disaster-response and recovery services by lending tools and equipment.
Bridal said the organization opened a Conroe neighborhood hub located at Tree of Life Lutheran Church. She described available items—tools for disaster response, tables and chairs, pop-up tents, utility trailers, yard games and projectors—and said the hub can deliver supplies to neighborhood locations for a small fee that can be waived. Bridal offered pamphlets and invited council members and staff to schedule tours of the location.
Council members thanked Bridal and welcomed the Houston Tool Bank to Montgomery. Staff indicated they would follow up regarding tours and leave pamphlets with the city for distribution.
