The action followed routine procedural business. Chair Haley Williamson moved to approve the June 21, 2024 meeting minutes at the start of the session; Commissioner Brown seconded and the motion carried.
Before taking several staff items, Commissioner Brown announced she would abstain from voting on agenda item 3f, citing "the potential conflicts between my previous role with AT and T and the aforementioned item before the commission today." Chair Williamson then moved to accept staff recommendations for agenda item 3f; Commissioner Cordova seconded and the commission recorded the item as decided. Later the commission moved and approved, without discussion, a batch of staff-recommended orders covering agenda items 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e, 3h and 4a.
Chair Williamson noted that agenda item 3g was deferred and introduced Anne Marie Kuneo of regulatory operations staff for the items she presented. The meeting included two public-comment periods at the start and near adjournment; no members of the public in Carson City or Las Vegas spoke during either period. The commission adjourned following the second public-comment period.
