Events center delayed by back-ordered glass doors; board eyes early-May use

"We're looking we do have, the 1st weekend in May," Speaker 2 said. Speaker 2 said staff will hold a VIP event for board members, volunteers and docents once the construction completion date is confirmed. No new firm completion date was announced during the meeting; Speaker 2 said only that the delayed glass doors are "on their way." The board reiterated plans for a site walkthrough once city sign-offs and code inspections are complete.
