Council approves approximately $856,000 contract with Tecton for school Stage 2 submission

The presenter said the base contract is approximately $856,000 and will be funded through the school department’s surplus; additional supplemental services (traffic and geotechnical studies) were noted as potential add-ons if required.
Chris Spiegle was named in the meeting as the school representative who can answer technical questions. The school building committee also announced a public engagement meeting at the high school auditorium the next evening at 6 p.m. to review narrowed proposals ahead of the Stage 2 submission.
Council members voted in favor of moving the item and approving the contract recommendation from the school committee.
