The council discussed project scope and the local match required and directed staff to finalize cost estimates and schedule a finance committee meeting to certify the city’s match.
- Finance forecast: Council moved to accept the finance director’s five-year financial forecast and related borrowing authority; that motion passed by roll call.
- Executive session: The council voted to enter executive session to discuss litigation and property with the finance director and city solicitor; members approved a five-minute timed session.
Each of the formal votes occurred during the meeting’s ordinance/resolution portion or during miscellaneous business and was recorded on the meeting record. Staff will follow up to finalize grant application details and to convene the finance committee as directed.
