Berks County lists budget transfers, personnel moves and support letters on consent agenda

At the meeting, the chair presented a consent listing that included a resolution authorizing 2025 budget transfers and appropriations (listing dated Oct. 3, 2025) and several personnel actions.

Items read into the record included appointment of Tyler Novak to the public defender's office and promotions of John Scholastico (to deputy chief adult probation officer), Ashley Showers (to executive director of planning at the Berks County Planning Commission) and Kim Montan (to supervising attorney in the public defender's office).
