Commissioners list reappointments, grant applications and contract items on Nov. 20 agenda

Anawalt IV (Burnville) and Dave Klein (Sinking Spring) to the Park and Recreation Board (terms to 12/31/2029); and Christopher Phillips (Sinking Spring) to the Reading Public Library Board of Trustees (term to 12/31/2030).
Leinbach also said the county would apply for Local Share Account funding through the Commonwealth Finance Authority: up to $86,240 for purchase and upfitting of a Department of Emergency Services vehicle for the Berks County Fire Training Center, and up to $860,000 for the Reading Regional Airport terminal renovation project in Burn Township. The agenda listed four contracts (two jointly with Children & Youth Services and juvenile probation, and two with facilities and operations) and a series of payment and payroll authorizations subject to final COO review.
Those items were placed on the meeting agenda and approved as part of the consent/agenda motion.
