Scranton council adopts investment-policy update, parks donation and multiple streetscape contracts

The council approved three streetscape contracts by voice/roll-call vote: Krieger Construction Inc. will perform the Wyoming Avenue and the Lynden Street/N. Washington streetscape projects (items 7d and 7e) and American Asphalt Paving Company was authorized for the Adams Avenue streetscape (item 7f). Earlier in the meeting, the council passed an ordinance (6a) creating a new account for Parks and Recreation to receive and disburse donations.
The votes were recorded by roll call with the council announcing 'ayes' and chairpersons declaring each item legally adopted.
