Council members pressed for clearer metrics and accountability: which districts and neighborhoods are being served, where placements occur, and the status of the promised employment center in Elliott (one council member said the center remains unopened after more than a year). The CFO committed to provide district-level residency metrics and further program details; one member abstained until that information is provided.
Outcome: Committee gave an affirmative recommendation; staff will return with additional data on program metrics and the Elliott employment center timeline.
