Manager's office announced the hiring of Ron Russo as deputy manager, with a Dec. 1 start; Russo was described as having prior experience as deputy manager in Hernando County and Lake County and a background with the Department of Agriculture and FDLE.
Next steps: staff will proceed with bid reviews, confirm remediation status on contaminated parcels before surplus action and introduce the deputy manager in December.
