At its Nov. 18 meeting the Litchfield Elementary School District Governing Board adopted the consent agenda after removing two out-of-state travel requests from the consent packet (items 6.1 and 6.11). Mister Owens moved to adopt the consent agenda minus those items; the motion was seconded and carried unanimously.
Separately, the board approved two out-of-state travel requests. For item 7.1, district IT leadership explained the district is transitioning to Cisco networking (Troy Gilbert Elementary will be an all-Cisco campus) and said Cisco Live offers in-depth hands-on training and access to Cisco TAC engineers. Miss Moran moved to approve item 7.1; the motion passed unanimously.
For item 7.2, district staff said RTM would cover part of the cost for presenters, reducing district expense while giving the district a platform to share its strategic-plan work. Miss Moran moved to approve item 7.2; the motion also passed unanimously.
The meeting ended after routine reports and a unanimous motion to adjourn.
