At its regular session the Lewisville Zoning Board of Adjustment approved minutes from its prior meeting, handled two substantive agenda items and adjourned.

The board voted to approve the prior meeting minutes; the presiding officer announced a unanimous vote. The board adopted updated rules of procedure after a staff presentation explaining officer roles, quorum and voting thresholds and public‑comment procedures. The board also approved a variance that allows a proposed house at 1124 Long Isle Lane to exceed the plan‑development height of 35 feet; staff noted the proposed house measures 39 feet, 4 inches and said staff supports the 40‑foot allowance.

During the variance public hearing the presiding officer invited public comment, and no one came forward. A board member announced that the second community visioning workshop associated with the 2035 plan will be held tomorrow at Independence Elementary from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The board then moved to adjourn; the presiding officer announced the motion passed unanimously and the meeting concluded.
