Council denies Night Before Lounge application, approves Krupa Indian Cuisine license and manager application

Later the council took up the application for Krupa Indian Cuisine and its manager application. Vishal Podil (presenting himself as manager/owner) described the operation at 8320 Northwoods Drive, Suite 100, and said the business is open. Podil answered questions, and councilors complimented the application. A motion to approve items 4c and 4d passed by roll call, 7-0.
Both votes were unanimous; the council did not provide an extended public-record rationale for the denial of the Night Before application during the hearing.
