The Cornwall-Lebanon School District board approved a series of routine action items on Dec. 1, including two construction change orders, reimbursements, facility-use requests, student trips and food-service bills.
Under buildings and grounds, the board approved change order GCCO #3 (Earl Baltz Stadium facility improvements, NCI Construction) and GCCO #5 (Cedar Crest High School renovation, Lobar Incorporated). Both motions passed unanimously by show of hands.
Joel Zug moved to approve reimbursements in the amount of $18,089.50 and the board approved the motion. The board also approved requests for Sunday use of facilities — including Cedar Crest cheerleading’s use of the Cedar Crest Middle School cafeteria for a bingo fundraiser and Falcon Youth Football Association’s Sunday practices — and overnight and Sunday field trips for chorus and cheer teams.
On pupil services, Susan A. Dieffenbach moved to approve food-service fund bills totaling $417,485.37; the motion was seconded and passed unanimously.
All action and consent items on the agenda carried by unanimous votes. The board did not debate these items at length and will continue oversight through routine reports and future finance meetings.
