State Public Charter School Authority staff gave a step‑by‑step checklist of the seven documents SPCSA‑sponsored charter schools must retain and upload for Title I monitoring. "These 7 documents are essential for Title 1 compliance," Brittany Weinhold said, listing the required items and explaining their purpose.
The seven required documents Weinhold named are: the Title I statement of assurance; the Title I notification letter that summarizes Title I status and fund use; paraprofessional qualification documentation; materials from the annual parent/family meeting (agenda, sign‑in sheets, and handouts); the Parent's Right to Know notice and long‑term substitute notification; the School Parent/Family Compact; and a School Parent/Family Engagement Policy developed with stakeholder input.
She advised schools to keep materials in parent‑friendly formats and translate documents when necessary, retain proof of paraprofessional qualifications on file, and ensure paraprofessionals provide instructional support only under licensed teacher supervision. Weinhold gave a submission deadline for those documents to Epicenter: Oct. 27, 2025, and reminded schools that NDE desktop monitoring deadlines vary by year.
