Policy committee presents multiple first readings; member proposes adding lawful firearm possession to Policy 3.33

During discussion an unidentified board member asked members to review Policy 3.33, noting the committee had discussed survey content protections and proposing a local addition to add a ninth bullet. The speaker said the addition would "include items outlined in the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act regarding the lawful use of products off school premises" and would be intended to include "lawful possession and use of firearms." The speaker urged policy committee members to take a look and said they had spoken with Butler about the language.
The board did not vote on any policy changes; these are first readings and will return for further action. Members were directed to contact Randy with questions about the policies or exhibits.
