Appointments and personnel
- Ratified appointment of Hadley McPhee and Matthew Berio as on-call firefighter recruits, pending successful physical examinations (motion carried unanimously).
- Appointed Shailene Volpe to the school building committee through project completion (motion carried unanimously).
- Appointed Steven Bianchi as an election worker for the upcoming election (motion carried unanimously).
Contracts and procurement
- Approved an amendment to the roadway-management contract to add $300,000 for the Complete Streets Exchange Street project (motion carried unanimously).
- Authorized the town administrator to sign a contract with Liberty Chevrolet for a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado with plow and accessories, not to exceed $90,370 (motion carried unanimously).
- Awarded interior plaster-repair work at 64 Exchange Street (Lansing Mills Building) to Born Plastering Inc., not to exceed $29,455, funded by the Lansing Millis gift fund (motion carried unanimously).
Land use and operations
- Approved a license request for John McCarthy to hay town-owned properties under the Select Board's jurisdiction (Cassidy Field, Island Road Field, and the Braun property) pending a license agreement with restrictions and time frame (motion carried unanimously).
- Approved closure of non-emergency municipal departments on Friday, Dec. 26, 2025 (motion carried unanimously).
Finance
- Approved water and sewer commitments: Oct. 2025 total $7,274.48 and FY26 total $1,246,257.13 (motions carried unanimously).
Governance
- Approved draft minutes of the Nov. 18, 2025 select board meeting as written (motion carried unanimously).
- Moved to enter executive session to discuss strategy for contract negotiations with union and nonunion personnel and returned only to adjourn the meeting.
