The Walton County Design Review Board opened its Dec. 4 meeting and approved the board calendar dates for the coming year by voice vote. Unidentified Speaker 5 moved to approve the dates; the motion was seconded and the board responded 'Aye.'

The board also agreed to defer the election of a chair and vice chair until the January meeting so newly appointed members can be seated first. Unidentified Speaker 2 said appointments should be finalized this month and that elections would be conducted at the first meeting of the new year.
