Staff said the work grew from an earlier grant and the project scope presented to the board totaled $15,067. Director-level staff told trustees that if the board prefers, staff can strip non-ADA items from the package to prioritize compliance needs before pursuing the remainder of the project.
A trustee asked whether the vendor that had produced prior signs was being used to keep a consistent design; staff confirmed that previous design choices were part of why only one quote was presented for a subset of the work and said they would provide additional vendor options if the board requested them. The motion to approve the project passed during the meeting.
