The Mendocino Local Agency Formation Commission approved the consent calendar on Dec. 1, which included the Nov. 3 meeting summary, November claims and financial report, and a certificate of appreciation for alternate commissioner Zakaria.
Commissioner Ward asked whether the costs tied to the Saint Pierre matter were being tracked separately; staff responded that document productions under the Public Records Act were invoiced separately from litigation counsel invoices and that staff would review the entries for categorization. Commissioners also questioned why year-to-date revenues appeared low; staff explained accounting counts deposits as they are received from the treasury, which can delay reflection in the commission’s internal spreadsheet.
A motion to approve the consent calendar was moved and seconded and the roll call vote approved the items unanimously.
