OMA council approves minutes and 2026 meeting dates

The Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority Executive Advisory Council approved its July 11, 2025 meeting minutes and adopted its 2026 meeting schedule at the Nov. 19 meeting.
A motion to approve the July minutes was made by Sheriff Tommy Johnson and seconded by Randy Hendricks; the motion passed with Chair Adria Berry recorded as voting yes and David Gerken recorded as absent.
Council then considered proposed 2026 meeting dates — Friday, Jan. 23; Friday, April 17; Friday, July 17; and Friday, Oct. 16, all at 9 a.m. The council approved the schedule by motion (mover: Katie Nail; second: Sheriff Tommy Johnson). Director Danielle reminded members that the Open Meeting Act requires the schedule be filed with the secretary of state by Dec. 15 and that dates can be amended with proper advance notice.
