The Moorestown Township Board of Education handled a series of routine votes during its Nov. 18 meeting, including approval of meeting minutes, renewal of insurance membership and a roll-call approval of employee relations items.
The meeting chair asked for a motion to approve the minutes of the Oct. 14, 2025 meeting; the motion was seconded and the chair asked that "Jill's abstention" (Claudine Marano) be recorded.
On insurance, the board moved to renew membership in the joint insurance fund. The motion was seconded and the chair conducted a roll-call that recorded the following responses: Ruchika Arora — yes; Jackie Barnes — yes; Fowles Macaluso — yes; Dr. Myatt — yes; (Miss) Miller — yes; (Claudine) Marrano — yes; Mick Weeks — yes; Mark Villanueva — yes. The chair acknowledged the recorded vote.
On employee relations, the board approved items 1–6 with an amendment to item 4 (columns B2 and B6 as discussed in executive session). A roll-call was read and the board members recorded in the transcript responded affirmatively; the chair recorded the results as approved.
Separately, the chair asked for a motion to approve suspensions listed in exhibit 26-110 and HIB incidents discussed in October's executive session; the transcript excerpt does not include a clear roll-call tally for that motion.
The meeting also recorded a motion (and second) to submit the SSDS report (Jan.–June 2025) as part of the superintendent’s recommendations; the transcript excerpt shows the motion and second but the public roll-call for that item is not clearly recorded in the excerpt.
What it means: The board approved routine operational items, including insurance and personnel recommendations. Where the public transcript recorded full roll-call responses, votes were affirmative; some votes were recorded ambiguously in the excerpt and are noted as "not specified."
