She said the presentation did not yet reflect bonds recently issued and that a budget amendment will be prepared to incorporate those figures once finalized.
Committee members asked for clarification about jail chiller rental and replacement costs listed in the backup; staff said the rental figure and replacement will be addressed through the bid process and by budget amendment after 2026 budget adoption. Road District No. 6 fund balances and road‑lighting district revenues were also reviewed; staff said about $300,000 remains in a contractor repair account for District 6, and that any unspent 2025 balances will carry forward to 2026.
The committee set public hearings for the listed ordinance introductions on Dec. 10, 2025, and staff said bids and procurement for several capital projects (including chiller replacement) cannot start until the 2026 budget is formally adopted on Jan. 1.
