Meeker County approves Ehlers as investment adviser and backs two LRIP road grants

Meeker County commissioners voted on Nov. 18 to hire Ehlers as investment advisers for county and hospital funds and approved two Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP) actions.

Heather, the county finance director, presented the Ehlers proposal and said the firm’s fee would be taken from investment earnings rather than paid as a separate cash charge. “They take it out of our investment earnings,” Heather said.
