Shreya Patel, director of operations at AFC Urgent Care Revere, said the clinic at Northgate Plaza marked its one‑year anniversary and is offering a range of services to residents, including on‑site x‑ray, blood testing, rapid testing (flu, strep, COVID), STD testing, DOT physicals and discounted school physicals for Revere Public Schools.
Patel said the clinic has contracted with the Revere Police and Fire departments to provide new‑hire physicals, required vaccinations and drug screens and that the clinic recently hosted a flu vaccine clinic for Revere residents. She also said the clinic had begun offering immigration physicals as of the prior Friday to serve the city's immigrant population.
Councilors thanked Patel for the presentation, said they had personal positive experiences using the clinic, encouraged outreach to raise local awareness and noted the item was placed on file for council records.
