CPC staff says Veterans Memorial plaques application likely not eligible for CPA funding

At the Nov. 19 meeting committee staff reported on an application from the veterans’ agent to restore honor-roll plaques at Memorial Hall. After researching comparable projects and consulting with a CPC chair from another town, staff concluded the application as submitted is likely ineligible under current CPA guidance.
Staff said they would inform the applicant and recommended the applicant consider submitting plaque restoration as part of a broader town-hall renovation (which could make the work eligible as part of a larger project scope). The committee accepted that staff would follow up and bring any revised or bundled proposal back for further review.
