Board members repeatedly advised applicants to secure written reconsideration or consent from opposing neighbors where past approvals in similar circumstances had depended on adjoining‑owner agreement. In several cases the board said it would be reluctant to grant a full, wholesale reduction across an entire property without specific, measured plans and mitigation. Where applicants asked for more time to gather documents, the board moved to postpone and carried those motions.
