Motions on these items were moved and seconded in sequence and were approved by voice vote; commissioners recorded 'Aye' on each item. The employee action forms included the previously approved seasonal nurse rehire for Helena Zavala Chase through Jan. 30, with staff noting a possible later extension.
Public comment in support of the Small Business Saturday proclamation was offered by local business owner Sarah Larson, who described local retail participation and urged residents to shop at independent stores.
