Eric Hassler, assistant superintendent for secondary curriculum and instruction, introduced the district's three National Merit Scholarship commended students: Mikaela Kim, Abhilash Patel and Mia Crivetto, and described the PSAT-based selection process that places commended students among the top several percent of test takers.
Board members praised the students and staff, thanked families and firefighters, and acknowledged the drama club's preview performance. Several members highlighted the district's fall concert season and asked the community to attend upcoming events.
