Speaker 3 (staff member) told commissioners the county sent a letter to the federal delegation asking that a rescinded Neighborhood Access Grant for the Highway 200 corridor be "re-homed" into another federal program so work on Highway 200 in East Missoula can continue.

Staff and commissioners discussed that the notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for other federal programs was released earlier in the week and that the county, together with the MPO, will review options and consider phasing the Highway 200 project into smaller components that are more competitive for grant funding. Speaker 1 said competition for infrastructure grants is strong and noted costs have escalated since earlier planning estimates, making phased applications more likely than seeking funding for the entire corridor at once.
