Commissioners noted the schedule and discussed warming-station contingencies during the short replacement window.
Impact fees and irrigation: S1 said an irrigation contractor estimate was about $26,000 for lower-field work and suggested impact fees might cover the cost. He asked staff to verify the ages of impact-fee balances because funds may need to be used within a prescribed time. Commissioners asked S1 to confirm whether recent impact-fee deposits had used the oldest dollars first and to report back on how much is available for capital projects.
Revolving account and town bills: S1 relayed that Julie estimated an upcoming town bill at roughly $40,000 and, after that payment, projected about a $55,000 balance in the commission's revolving account. Members asked for the final invoice and the exact period covered so they can avoid an unexpected additional charge later in the fiscal year.
Next steps: Staff was asked to (a) confirm furnace installation timing, (b) provide exact invoices for town bills and the current revolving-account balance, and (c) determine the ages and allowable uses of impact-fee funds before pursuing irrigation work.
