At the Nov. 24 meeting of the Delaware County commissioners, the director of environmental services provided the monthly sanitary update for the regional sewer district.
Tiffany Magg said staff approved one plan this month for the Miraluna (Romanelli) development, which will extend a trunk sewer up SR-71 and provide service to new development. She reported 61 single-family connections for the month and said those additions "put us at a total of 1,316 new connections for the year, budgeted 1,481." Magg noted there were no multifamily or commercial connections this month.
The briefing also referenced a short subdivider’s agreement for a North Star/London Road phase and a 43-unit section (Berlin Farms West Section 6) proceeding; Magg said these projects and others continue to expand sewer service into planned growth areas.
