At the end of the meeting, Cotati community development staff told the Planning Commission they were likely to cancel the December 1 commission meeting and that December 15 remains possible pending confirmation.
Staff also described a newly implemented business liaison program intended to help new and existing local businesses navigate city permitting and inter‑departmental processes. The program assigns a staff member as a point of contact to shepherd business applicants through city procedures; staff said the program will be presented to City Council on Dec. 9 in relation to the department’s work plan and TOC compliance.
Commissioners asked staff to follow up on the status of the Veranda Folletti Ranch hotel project; staff said the developer had reported financing approval and an intent to reengage with the city soon.
Staff concluded by thanking commissioners and the public for feedback on the La Plaza project and adjourned the meeting.
