Resident raises ordinance and safety allegations in Conway public comment

Marlowe, who identified herself as a longtime Conway resident, said an ordinance enacted in 2018 allows "unscrupulous businesses to encroach on residential property lines," and that this and a separate incident on Feb. 22, 2025 — which she described as "the attack of a satanic decoration on me when I attempted to open the door to City Hall information desk" — have caused harm to seniors and small property owners. She characterized the matters as both civil and criminal and said more facts and details would be provided at the next council meeting.
Council thanked Marlowe for her comments; no formal council action or staff response was taken at the meeting aside from closing public input. Council rules allow public comment and the resident indicated she will return with additional material at a later date.
