The Kossuth County Board of Supervisors approved two drainage-repair requests brought during the meeting.
Supervisors reviewed a repair request for a large hole involving a 22-inch tile for Dan Behnken in Hebron Township Section 21, and a separate request for a large hole near a ditch involving a 12-inch tile for Greg McNeese in Wesley Township Section 1. The board moved to have supervisors handle the requests and approved the motion. Motion by Wagner; second by Garman; board approved by voice vote.
Members discussed that the repair forms and maps sometimes show sections and quarter-sections differently and asked staff to clarify that the mapping on forms represents the whole section to reduce confusion for crews assigned to repairs. Staff was directed to keep the signed forms with the associated packet so the landowner signature and request are together.
The board recorded the actions by voice vote; no roll-call tally was recorded in the transcript.
