The committee accepted the minutes from a special meeting on Oct. 9; the tally recorded four yes votes and one abstention. The committee also approved a $2,495 increase to the city's contract with ARC Document Solutions to add GIS customization and a public access module that will make scanned historic tax cards and older permit records easier to search. Steve, a city staff member, said multiple years of tax cards have been scanned and linked to the assessor and planning pages, and the records work will be live "by the end of the calendar year," with explanatory text to help users navigate differing historical identifiers.
On transportation matters, staff explained a correction to an RFQ for traffic-signal emergency services and requested authorization for a three-year contract with an option to extend two more years, not to exceed $175,000, to maintain approximately 100 traffic signals and related equipment. Fred, the presenter, said the previous anticipated amount was incorrect and the new authorization will cover anticipated emergency work over the next three years.
