Greene County closes Northwest Regional Water Plant project with $79,000 net deduction change order

The Greene County Board of Commissioners on Nov. 13 approved the final change order for the Northwest Regional Water Plant construction project carried out by the Shook–AECOM joint venture, reporting a net deduction of $79,000 that will close out the contract.
County staff praised the facility and project team for resolving long-running issues that had delayed project completion, noting the plant now provides high-quality water to customers. Staff identified the final change order as the last piece of the multi-year project and thanked project managers for their work.
"This is the final final piece of our... water plant saga," a presenter said, adding that the change order results in a net deduction of $79,000. Commissioners moved to approve the final change order and authorized the county administrator to sign the related documents.
The vote to approve was recorded as affirmative by commissioners present. With the change order approved, staff said the project closes and normal operations continue at the regional plant.
