The Waukee City Council approved the second reading of an ordinance rezoning approximately 8.36 acres at 1926 Joaquin (the northwest corner of Northwest 10th Street and Northwest Douglas Parkway) from A-1 to C-1/A to allow a Quickstart store and future commercial development.
Staff said the site plan includes a roughly 9,000-square-foot Quickstart store planned for the south end of the property and that the remainder is intended for future commercial use. The parcel is approximately 8.36 acres and staff recommended approval of the second consideration.
After staff presentation and brief council questions, the council voted in favor of the second reading by roll call.
