The Millis Select Board recorded several unanimous votes at its Nov. 24 meeting, including personnel appointments, contract awards and operational approvals.

Appointments and personnel
- Ratified appointment of Hadley McPhee and Matthew Berio as on‑call firefighter recruits pending successful physicals (motion and unanimous vote recorded).
- Appointed Shailene Volpe to the School Building Committee through project completion.
- Appointed Steven Bianchi as an election worker to assist with the upcoming vote.

Contracts and awards
- Authorized the town administrator to sign an amendment with JH Lynch and Son Inc. for an additional $300,000 for the Complete Streets/Exchange Street project (unanimous).
- Approved purchase contract with Liberty Chevrolet for a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado with plow and accessories not to exceed $90,370 (funds were appropriated at Town Meeting).
- Awarded a $29,455 contract to Born Plastering Inc. for interior plaster repairs at 64 Exchange Street, to be funded from the Lansing Mills gift fund.

Other operational items
- Approved a license for John McCarthy to hay specified town parcels (Braun property, Cassidy Field, Island Road Field) pending a license agreement spelling out restrictions and time frame.
- Approved water and sewer commitments totaling $7,274.48 (October) and $1,246,257.13 (2026 commitment).
- Approved closure of nonemergency municipal departments on Friday, Dec. 26, 2025 (motion carried).
- Approved draft minutes for 11/18/2025 and voted to enter executive session for contract negotiation strategy (returning only to adjourn).
