Mount Diablo Unified board adjourns to closed session to address negotiations, personnel, litigation and a student expulsion

The Mount Diablo Unified School District Board of Education convened Dec. 10, 2025, and recessed to closed session to consider several confidential matters, including labor negotiations, personnel discipline or reassignment, anticipated litigation, a liability claim naming Brandon Lawson, an appeal of a complaint against an employee under board policy 3 1312.1, and a stipulated expulsion agreement for student number 08-26.

The presiding officer closed the public portion by saying, “With that, we will adjourn to closed session.”
