At the meeting—s conclusion the Grants Pass City Council approved the consent agenda (items A through K) by roll call and made multiple appointments to advisory bodies.
Ballots resulted in Keith Trahearn being appointed to the Urban Planning Commission; Reid Beaumont and Valerie Lovelace were appointed to two openings on the Parks Advisory Committee; Adrianna Reinhart and Donald Fashing were appointed to the Budget Committee and Public Safety Advisory Committee vacancies respectively. Council recorded roll-call votes for the appointments as part of routine business.
During public comment Rica (Bridal) Brown discussed utility-affordability analysis from a circulated Associated Press item and local climate/utility observations. Staff and councilors announced community events including a downtown holiday parade (Dec. 13) and tree lighting, and staff thanked utility crews who worked through Thanksgiving to clear a major blockage at the wastewater treatment plant.
The council adjourned after a motion to adjourn was approved.
