The Weston County Commission voted Nov. 18 to adopt an updated county credit‑card use agreement that includes new paperwork and notations for cardholders.

Commissioners said staff will need to complete new forms and that the agreement adds clearer preapproval and documentation steps for county travel and purchases. A motion to approve the credit‑card use agreement passed on a voice vote with no recorded opposition.

Several commissioners asked for staff to provide copies of the revised policy and examples from other counties that have moved similar positions or administrative arrangements. Commissioners said they expect preapproval checks for recurring monthly charges (for example, payroll software) and requested that those items be flagged for review.
