Resident urges Merrimack Valley School Board to restore committee seats for Amanda York, cites policy

Mercer also said she had previously raised concerns about nonresident teachers speaking at meetings and that earlier assurances proved incorrect: "I was lied to about the nonresident teachers, so they were continued to allow to speak," she said.
Mercer concluded by asking the board to "please formally put Amanda York on the committees vacated by Dan York." The board did not record an immediate formal response or vote on Mercer’s request at the meeting.
What happens next: The request and the policy questions Mercer raised were recorded in public comment; the board did not take formal action at the June 2 session to change committee assignments.
