DuPage Technology Committee approves GIS intergovernmental agreement, Esri contract

A member noted these agreements occur periodically ("every 1 to 3 years") when an organization lacks its own GIS team. The motion to approve carried on a voice vote.
The committee next addressed procurement item TE-P-26-25, a recommended contract/purchase order with Environmental Systems Research Institute (Esri) Inc. for GIS support and training for the IT GIS division for Jan. 17, 2026through Jan. 16, 2027, for a total of $119,400. The chairwoman said the item was exempt from bidding and that "this product and service is only available from the provider Esri Inc." The motion to approve the contract was seconded and carried.
