County Administrator Cassie Taylor told the Finance Committee on Dec. 3 that the county’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) rollout remains on track for a February 2026 go-live for the financial module, with payroll and HR scheduled for June 2026.
Taylor said November featured intensive planning, December will be used for validation testing and January for staff training. Key outstanding issues include conversion and interface work, vendor (Tyler) delays on some activities, and a need for more participation from the county auditor on capital-asset and accounting decisions tied to conversion. Taylor said if the auditor cannot participate, administration will reach out to the outside auditor (CLA) for assistance.
Taylor described project-management support from consultant Sanford Hess and said the project team plans concentrated work in December and January to meet testing and conversion goals. Committee members asked clarifying questions about the auditor's role and whether there are due dates; Taylor said Hess issues due dates and meeting requests and the administration is working to secure timely input.
No formal action was required; the update was informational and the committee will continue oversight as the project moves through testing to go-live.
